Yemen’s Houthi group attacked army positions and plane hangars at Saudi Arabia’s Abha and Jizan airports, the group’s Al Masirah TVstated on Tuesday, citing a army spokesman.
There was no speedy affirmation from Saudi authorities.
The Houthis, who ousted the Saudi-backed internationally recognised authorities from energy within the Yemeni capital Sanaa in late 2014, have stepped up missile and drone assaults on Saudi cities this month.
Earlier, Pakistan strongly condemned one more assault by Yemeni rebels on a civilian airport in southern Saudi Arabia, leading to one loss of life and accidents to 21 others on Sunday night time.
The strike was carried out by Yemeni rebels, a Riyadh-led coalition stated, in a brand new escalation following a collection of strikes on the positioning.
In Could, Saudi Arabia’s air defence forces intercepted a drone armed with explosives which had been launched by Yemen’s Houthis and aimed toward an airport within the south of the dominion.
