The nation is celebrating its 53rd Defence Day on Thursday to pay tribute to the martyrs and ghazis of the 1965 conflict.

On September 6, 1965, Indian forces launched a surprise assault on Pakistan and crossed the border international border underneath the duvet of darkness.

Amongst different well-known personalities and politicians, many celebs got here ahead to salute the military. Hamza Ali Abbasi took to Twitter to write down a heartfelt message for martyrs. He wrote, “We Love Pakistan. Salute to our martyrs. Love for Pakistan isn’t simply love for a chunk of land however is love for the manifesto which says Pakistan ka matlab kiya? (What’s the that means of Pakistan?) La Ilaaha Ilallah. Salute to the martyrs who rendered their lives for the manifesto.”
