PESHAWAR: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) parliamentarian Baldev Kumar on Tuesday, sought political asylum from New Delhi.
In accordance with sources, Kumar is residing in India together with three members of his household after requesting Indian Prime Minister Narender Modi to grant him political asylum.
The ex-PTI MPA’s relations have been unaware of some other developments within the case.
“Ever since now we have damaged ties with him, we do not know the place he resides, so we can not verify his precise location,” Tilat, a relative of Kumar, informed The News Observers; including that Kumar, alongside together with his household, had left for India round eight months in the past, quickly after his bail request was authorised.
