An accountability court in Lahore on Monday prolonged the judicial remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Aleem Khan by 14 days, Radio Pakistan reported.
NAB had arrested Khan on February 6, 2019, when he appeared earlier than a mixed investigations group. It was alleged that Aleem, being a public office holder, acquired enormous belongings and established offshore corporations.
It was acknowledged that he owned residences and maintained massive bank accounts.
Accusations had been rife that accumulating all this wealth and belongings was not doable taking the suspect’s recognized sources of earnings.
