Acclaimed Indian film-maker Anurag Kashyap’s newest outing, Manmarziyan has not been cleared by the Central Board of Movie Censors (CBFC) for launch in Pakistan.

The Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal-starrer launched in India on September 14. Speaking to The Fortune News, CBFC Chief Danyal Gilani stated, “The members of the board have unanimously determined to not clear the movie as its content material violates the censorship code.”

The movie marks junior Bachchan’s return to the silver display screen following a two-year hiatus. The story of the movie revolves round a younger couple, Rumi (Taapsee) and Vicky (performed by Vicky).
